Byard have been at the cutting edge of Spiral Technology, introducing advanced laser guidance, all-digital mill control systems and high-output Lincoln welding systems to increase both output capacity and quality of the finished pipe.

Byard have been manufacturing Spiral Pipe and Byard Spiral Mills since our foundation in 1963. In that time we have installed over 70 Byard Spiral Mills for some of the world's leading pipe makers - in API 5L Oil and Gas Facilities, in Water Pipe and Structural Piling, and in many other general applications. We are the world's leading spiral pipe mill supplier, with more site locations than any other company. Our previous Byard 2000T SPM was installed in 27 different locations.

 
Our most recent spiral mill, The Byard 3000API was completely redesigned and first installed in 2008. Since then we have installed and commissioned seven Byard 3000API Mills for some of the world's leading pipe manufacturing companies. (see Reference List of our installations since 1990). Our design and operations team are continually improving and upgrading the design to improve the output capacity, pipe manufacturing quality and performance. We always utilise the very latest welding, laser guidance and machine control technology.
 
Our design philosophy is based on our long term spiral pipe manufacturing and mill supply experience, as both Pipe Maker and Mill Manufacturer. We build our mills to be robust, simple to operate and maintain, and critically to make very high quality spiral pipes to API 5L standards. Our Mills are running a very wide range of materials from the heaviest to the thinnest gauges every day.
