Byard have been designing and manufacturing large diameter Hydrostatic Pipe Testing Machines both for our own use and our clients. We have many installed all over the world in many of our client’s facilities usually as part of a investment in water pipe plants.

Our standard Hydrotester is capable of testing pipes from 600mm through 3,000mm and length range 9,0m through 18,0m. It has an end Load Capacity of 2,800Metric Tonnes which ensures that it can test throughout the API 5L range up to 60” and up to 120” for AWWA water pipe.

We can also supply smaller diameter Hydrotesters with maximum diameter 2,000mm and 2,000MT end load.

Like our spiral mills, our Hydrotesters feature advanced control technology from Allen Bradley, KSB pumps and single heavy duty cylinders and are built to be very strong and robust.
